I'm Sarah — the artist behind Birthing Light Co.

This work found me again during a season when my life wasn't unfolding the way I had planned. Picking up my camera again became a way to stay close to motherhood — to witness it, learn from it, and honor it while I continue on my own path toward it.

Every mother I meet inspires and changes me. Their strength, their softness, their willingness to be cracked open and remade. Being trusted to document these seasons is something I carry with deep respect.

This work fills me up just as much as it serves the families I photograph. It's an exchange I'm endlessly grateful to be a part of.
